adidas Website Navigation Video
I was tasked with developing an adidas website navigation video as an ad hoc request from the sales team, designed to support Team Leaders in facilitating a huddle activity focused on product and filtering mastery during peak season. The goal was to equip agents with the confidence and speed needed to guide customers through the adidas website, ultimately driving sales through service. Given the urgency and business impact, I completed the project within a week, including revisions and stakeholder approvals.
In the Analysis phase, I collaborated with the sales team to understand the specific performance gaps and peak season priorities. The focus was clear: agents needed to quickly navigate product categories, apply filters efficiently, and recommend items with confidence. I also considered the delivery context—a fast-paced huddle led by Team Leaders—so the material had to be concise, engaging, and easy to facilitate without requiring extensive preparation.
During the Design phase, I structured the video as a guided, activity-based walkthrough that Team Leaders could use interactively with their teams. I mapped out key segments such as homepage navigation, product search, filtering techniques, and quick product recommendations. To maintain energy and engagement—especially important during peak season—I intentionally designed the flow to feel dynamic and exciting, with clearly distinguished sections to help both facilitators and learners follow along.
In the Development phase, I recorded screen capture clips directly from the adidas website to ensure authenticity and relevance. I then edited the video using Canva, incorporating upbeat background music, clean transitions, and visual cues to highlight important actions like filter selection and product comparison. I made sure each segment was clearly separated and easy to pause, allowing Team Leaders to turn the video into a hands-on activity rather than a passive viewing experience.
For Implementation, the final video was delivered as a ready-to-use huddle resource, enabling Team Leaders to immediately integrate it into their sessions. Its structure supported real-time demonstration and participation, allowing agents to practice navigation alongside the video.
In the Evaluation phase, I incorporated feedback from stakeholders during the review cycle, refining pacing, clarity, and visual emphasis to better align with sales objectives. The final output successfully met the request by providing an engaging, practical tool that supported agents in mastering product navigation and filtering, ultimately contributing to more effective, sales-driven customer interactions during peak season.
